DIRECT ACCESS CHALLENGES

The Pay and Personnel Center is aware of Direct Access challenges. We are currently experiencing the same issues and working with C5I and programmers to stabilize the system. This message will be removed when resolved.

Note: The issue which was preventing the issuance of PCS orders and entitlements has been resolved. If you continue to experience issues with your PCS orders or entitlements, the Pay and Personnel Center PCS Assist Team is standing by to assist (844-727-2022, PCSAssist@uscg.mil).

mLINQS ISSUE

USCG is still facing an issue in mLINQS with selecting the "assigned to" option from the drop-down menu and in the employee tab for certain states such as California, Ohio, Connecticut and Maryland. mLINQS has indicated that this is not a problem with the mLINQS software, but rather a browser settings issue with the Coast Guard (the settings are currently inaccessible to the average user and unit IT support). We are currently in communication with CG-9336 to resolve this issue as soon as possible.

EXTENDED ACTIVE DUTY (EAD) AND INTEGRATION OPPORTUNITIES FOR RESERVE MEMBERS APPROACHING OR BEYOND 16 YEARS OF ACCUMULATED ACTIVE DUTY SERVICE

To help mitigate current enlisted workforce shortages in critical ratings, RPM will exercise leniency in approving waivers to allow reserve enlisted members to enter EAD contracts or integrate into the Regular Component of the Coast Guard and later attain regular retirement.
