DIRECT ACCESS CHALLENGES

Our Pay and Personnel Center team members are users of Direct Access –just like you– and are similarly impacted by challenges with the system.  Though the Pay and Personnel Center does not own or control repairs to Direct Access, we continue to advocate with the Program Office to prioritize repairs and the C5I Service Center to conduct those repairs.  We appreciate your patience and grace during this time period.

In essence, Direct Access is our ship . . . and our ship is damaged and undergoing depot-level repairs.  The crew at the Pay and Personnel Center are just as eager for Direct Access to come back to fully mission capable, so we can better serve our Coast Guard families.

RETIRED PAY

At present, for temporary, permanent, VA offset, AEW’s, CRDP, and CRSC disability, we are encountering a processing delay due to systematic issues and a shortage of personnel. You remain our primary concern. We want to assure you that we are fully committed to resolving these issues promptly and handling your cases with utmost proficiency.

ETS First Logon and ADVTRAV Profile Data Transfer

Per ALCOAST 361/21, the entire Coast Guard workforce (military, civilian and reserve) will receive invitations via an email from etravelservices@cwtsatotravel.com on 04 October 2021 to activate your account. These invitations will expire within 72 hours; failure to activate in the required timeline will create additional administrative workload on support staff. Commands should ensure all service members are provided adequate time to complete the activation process. Accounts will remain active for 90 days and members who have not logged on will receive a reminder to log in or risk the accounts being disabled.

  1. Link:  If the link does not work, copy and paste into another web browser.
  2. User Id: will be USCG-member specific employee ID.  Example USCG-1234567.
  3. Password:  Please use your EMPLID only, the SSN is having issues.

ETS Initial Logon Dialog Boxes

  • Travelers will ensure their profile is up to date in the new system. Profiles from ADVTRAV – to include user names, passwords, frequent flier numbers, DoD ID numbers/Known Traveler Number, Secure Flight Data, etc., will be transferred to the new TMC.
