Coast Guard Voting Assistance Program

The CG Voting Assistance Program (CGVAP) works to ensure USCG members and their eligible family members are aware of their right to vote and have the tools and resources to successfully do so - from anywhere in the world

If you're away from your normal voting residence, USCG members and their family members can register to vote and request an absentee ballot with the assistance of your unit Voting Assistance Officer (VAO). Your VAO can provide you with the necessary forms, assist with determining you voting residence, help with determining mailing deadlines, and more.
