Education Services & Learning Center

The Coast Guard Institute provides training and education services, information and guidance for all CG members and the CG Education Services Officers (ESO) who assist members in pursuit of advancement, qualifications and voluntary education.

Established in December 2004, the Base Seattle Learning Center is a tremendous resource for Pier 36. It is open to all active duty, reserve, civilian employees, auxiliarists and dependents for training, education and career development. When training and testing are not in session, the facility is available for independent study.
