USCG Air Station Borinquen is located approximately 2 hours west of the San Juan Airport. We offer comfortable two, three, and 5 bedroom guest houses, as well as individual rooms. All guest houses are equipped with full kitchens, including refrigerators, microwave ovens, coffee pots, and kitchen utensils. Each guest house has cable TV and air conditioning. Linens are provided in each guest house and maid service is available Monday through Friday, except holidays. As a of form of pest control, guest are required to wash their own dishes. Any house requiring more than normal cleaning will be charged an additional night for heavy cleaning fee. Pets and smoking are prohibited in all guest houses.

Does it get any better than this? Wondering what to do once you've settled into your guest house. Each guest house is equipped with a notebook to help you with things to do and see in the area. Of course a day of fun and sun can be found at several nearby beaches, all just a short drive from Air Station Borinquen. Horseback riding on the beach is another popular activity located just a few minutes from our gates. Camuy Caves, located just 70 minutes from us host one of the world's largest underground river systems. The Arecibo Observatory, home of the world's largest radio telescope is just around the bend (take that literally) from Camuy Caves. !
Ponce, located approximately 60 minutes south of us plays host to a coffee plantation tour, the Serralles Castle which offers several tours daily, a fabulous art museum, and a unique and historic town square.  Restaurants are plentiful in the area and offer everything from local food to Italian, to Mexican, to seafood and steak, or just good o'le hamburgers!

Our MWR Recreational gear locker is open Monday through Thursday from 9:30-4:00 p.m., Fri 10:00-5:00 pm and Saturday/Sunday mornings from 8:00 a.m. until 12:00 noon for your recreational gear needs. For a very nominal rental fee, you can rent snorkel gear, life jackets, kayaks, beach pop-ups for sun protection, ice chests, bicycles and various other items for your vacation enjoyment.
