Monday - Friday: 0700 - 1530*

*(Please note that the clinic is closed for appointments on Thursday's beginning at 1130 for Training and Medical Administration time)

Duty HS onboard M-F: 1600-1700

The Clinic is closed daily from 1130-1230 for lunch.

Our mission is to provide the highest quality healthcare to our active duty and reserve population with a primary focus on operational readiness, mission support, and patient satisfaction by delivering superior, responsive and comprehensive health services, supporting individual wellbeing and the full range of Coast Guard missions.


Care Eligibility & Services:

Health Clinic New Orleans offers care to Active Duty CG and Public Health service members.  CG Reservists are authorized care when on orders. These services include, but are not limited to medical & dental appointments, referrals, laboratory, radiology, immunizations, and well woman exams. Optometry services are available at NASJRB Belle Chasse or Keesler AFB.

 

***There is no Walk-in Sick-Call at Health Clinic New Orleans. All visits are appointment based. Please call the appointment line to schedule a same day appointment.

 

***Notify the Duty HS on all ER visits as soon as possible.  Follow-up with Primary Care Physician/IDHS required. *AD Only* Pre-Authorization is required before any civilian Urgent/Acute Care visit. 

 


Pharmacy:

 

Health Clinic New Orleans no longer offers full pharmacy services but still offers a non-prescription medication program. Contact the appointment line or submit your questions to the email address below.

 

Reporting In:

1.  Check in your health record.  If you are hand carrying your health record from your previous unit, be sure to check your record in at the clinic’s front desk. 

2.  Primary Care Management.  Contact a Tricare Representative to update your enrollment and Primary Care assignment for you and your family.  Enrollments can be made by phone or through the website.

3.  Health Record Review.  The clinic will review your record to ensure all readiness items are current.
