Location: The Coast Guard Industrial Building

Hours of Operation: Monday through Friday: 0700 – 1530

The Engineer of the Watch (EOW) is on call 24 hours a day and can be reached on the Duty Cell.

The Maintenance Branch is responsible for base access control, all construction, maintenance, and repair of all buildings, grounds, and utilities on (143k square feet and 26 acres) Base new Orleans, 32 government owned houses (covering an area between Port Lavaca and Pascagoula, MS, north to Grangeville), and the Eighth District Representation Facility. Facilities Engineering assists in planning Gulf Coast D8 facilities work, authors AFC 43 requests, and inspects facilities. If any of these services are needed, submit a Facilities Engineering Work Order, which can be accessed from the Base Portal Page.
