Mission Support Specialties
Personnel Support includes the management of the regional Servicing Personnel Office (SPO) processing pay transactions, housing program, transportation of household goods, and other administrative personnel support services to include transient personnel management.
Facilities Engineering provides facility infrastructure maintenance and environmental management support services to all tenant commands in Charleston and N. Charleston, SC.
Electronics System Support Detachment supports our operational partners by maximizing readiness through the installation, maintenance, and repair of Coast Guard standard C4IT systems, providing timely and comprehensive depot level support.
Health, Safety & Work-Life fleet liaison support readiness services provides health services support by partnering with Department of Defense, TRICARE Provider Network, and other care to maximize readiness of 950 military personnel. Functions include coordination of active duty medical and dental care, readiness and preventive services, advisor for TRICARE benefits, coordination of work-life family support services.
Naval Engineering provides hull, mechanical and electrical (HM&E) and ordinance maintenance augmentation through the Maintenance Augmentation Teams (MATs) and Weapon Augmentation Team (WAT).
Comptroller/Base Operations: Comptroller/Base Operations is comprised of the Galley, Security, and Logistics Division. Logistics Division delivers shipping & receiving, property, and procurement services. Security Division manages CG Port Services for the Charleston area.
Procurement & Contracting (P&C) Provide procurement and contracting expertise throughout (AOR). Contracting Officer and procurement personnel manage acquisition methods for supplies and services up to the current Simplified Acquisition Threshold of $150,000 and minor construction contracting up to $30,000.
