Course Logistics

Applied Suicide Intervention Skills Training (ASIST)

  • Course description: To provide unit Command with trained crew that feel more comfortable, confident, and competent in helping to prevent the immediate risk of suicide.

Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR)

  • Course description: To provide unit Command with trained crew that possess the skills to provide cardiopulmonary resuscitation to victims.

Critical Incident Stress Management Peer (CISM)

  • Course description: To provide unit Command with trained crew that provide crisis intervention services including: pre/post-incident debrief, on-scene support, and assistance with group intervention.

Sexual Assault Prevention and Response Peer (SAPR)

  • Course description: To provide unit Command with trained crew that feel more comfortable, confident, and competent in helping to prevent the risk of sex assault and educate on victim's access to services.

Transition Assistance Program

  • Course description: To provide separating/retiring service members information and skills needed during their period of transition into civilian life.

Unit Health Promotion Coordinator (UHPC)

  • Course description: To provide unit Commands with trained crew that facilitate fitness, nutrition, injury prevention, stress management, smoking cessation, and weight control to the entire crew.

Unit Ombudsman (UO)

  • Course description: To provide unit Commands with trained volunteer CG spouse, reservist, or auxiliarist to facilitate communication between the command and spouses/families.

Victim Advocate Peer (VA)

  • Course description: To provide unit Commands with trained crew that feel more comfortable, confident, and competent in helping provide support to victims of crimes and traumatic events.

Pre-Deployment Crew/Family Briefing

  • Course description: To provide unit crew and families with current health, safety, and work-life information to include legal and personnel that will enhance mission readiness.

Work-Life Balance Classes

  • Course description: To provide individuals with fun and interactive classes to provide information and skills associated with health promotion, job transition skills, and fellowship.
