47' Service Life Extension Program (SLEP)

The primary objectives of the SLEP is to re-engine the 47', renew the steering gear, upgrade certain electronics including the autopilot, and improve electrical generation.

The Human Systems Integration team is following the program to ensure that:

  • Training needs are identified, especially for maintenance,
  • The craft remains safe to work from and to maintain,
  • The systems are easy to use and conform to user expectations, and
  • The manpower solution does not change, especially for support.
