Government Travel Debit Card:

The intent of the debit card program is to provide a means of paying emergency advance travel funds when the member does not possess a Government Travel Charge Card (GTCC) and time does not allow for the use of the routine travel advance process and non receipt of a travel advance would cause financial hardship on the traveler.  This program is not intended as a substitute for proper travel advance processing.  There are currently 7 units with the ability to issue debit cards, strategically located around the country primarily to meet emergency evacuation/contingency support requirements.  These units are listed below:

· USCG - SECTOR NEW YORK

· USCG - BASE DET ST LOUIS

· USCG - BASE PORTSMOUTH

· USCG - BASE MIAMI

· USCG - SECTOR JACKSONVILLE
