Sexual Assault Awareness and Prevention Month (SAAPM)

About SAAPM

Sexual Assault Awareness and Prevention Month (SAAPM) is recognized in April by both civilian and military communities. The U.S. Coast Guard observes SAAPM by focusing on crating the appropriate culture to eliminate sexual assault and requiring a personal commitment from all Service members at every level. We all have a role in combating and preventing sexual assault and local SAAPM activities offer an excellent opportunity to extend this message and focus attention on our individual roles.
