Occupational Health and Industrial Hygiene

The primary objective of the Occupational Health and Industrial Hygiene Program is to support Coast Guard Office of Safety and Environmental Health (CG-113) mission, vision and values by developing, promoting, and enforcing guidelines, policies, laws, and regulations to protect the health and well-being of workers through anticipation, recognition, evaluation and control of occupational health hazards arising in or from the workplace.
