Environmental Health

The primary objective of the Environmental Health Program is to support Coast Guard Office of Safety and Environmental Health (CG-113) mission, vision and values by establishing and enforcing guidelines, policies, laws, and regulations to prevent human injury and illness and promote well-being through limiting exposures to hazardous physical, chemical, and biological agents in air, water, soil, food and other environmental media or settings that may adversely affect human health.
