Commissary
The Defense Commissary Agency (DeCA), which is headquartered at Fort Lee, VA., operates a worldwide chain of commissaries providing groceries to military personnel, retirees, and their families in a safe and secure shopping environment. Authorized patrons purchase items at cost plus a 5-percent surcharge, which covers the costs of building new commissaries and modernizing existing ones.

Space-A Travel
Military planes (and planes contracted by the military) have mission assignments throughout the world and often offer empty seats to eligible passengers. For service members and their families, traveling Space Available (Space-A) on military flights can be a great benefit, but you have to be flexible. Military flights are unpredictable and subject to delays and cancellations.
