MilGears can be used for career planning and exploration by both military members and civilians.  It's centralized database aggregates military and civilian occupation and credentialing data. It translates military and non-military training, education and experience into civilian jobs and credentials. You can find a job aid here (CAC enabled).

 

DHS Career Mapping System

The DHS Career Mapping System tool enables DHS employees to map a progressive career ladder of GS job opportunities within the Department, as well as view skills, abilities, competencies, recommended training, and developmental activities necessary to progress from one position to another.
