Office of Civilian Strategic Planning & Applications (CG-125)

 

 

The Strategic Planning and Applications Division:

  • Sets the course for the Civilian Human Resources Office through research and evaluation of other government agencies and public sector "best practice" human resource programs, evaluating, revising, and/or developing new processes as appropriate.
  • Formulates strategic plans and initiatives to meet the human resource needs of customers and stakeholders consistent with statutory and regulatory requirements.
  • Develops requirements statements, statements of work, cost benefits analysis, testing plans, and gap analysis for automated human resource information systems (OPM, NFC, DHS, and USCG).
  • Provides policies, standards, and training governing the effective use of automated civilian human resource systems as well as liaison with responsible departmental elements for policy and administration of automated civilian human resources and payroll systems.
