C5ISC ELECTRONICS REPAIR FACILITY

This C5ISC unit provides depot level maintenance service/repair to existing C5I systems and components and refines, prototypes, tests and installs proposed components in support of C5I Product Lines.
 

C5ISC-WFD TECHNICAL SUPPORT BRANCH

Serves as the local C5I service delivery point in the bi-level maintenance and service construct. Oversees and ensures the timely installation, maintenance, repair, and modification of standard information technology and electronics systems and equipment at all C5ISC locations.
 
The Coast Guard Yard is serviced by the HR Center Northeast. They are located on the 1st floor of Building 1. Civilian vacancy announcements are listed on www.usajobs.gov.
 

ISVS PRO BALTIMORE

The mission of ISVS PRO BALTIMORE is to Sustain Mission Effectiveness of Legacy Cutters into the 21st Century. The programs is a part of the Coast Guard Acquisition Directorate.
 
Sector Maryland-NCR's missions are Homeland Security, search and rescue, maritime safety, law enforcement, environmental protection, protection of commerce and communities, and mobility and waterway management for our nation's capital and throughout the upper Chesapeake Bay.
 

STATION CURTIS BAY

Station Curtis Bay is one of seven units under operational control of Coast Guard Sector Baltimore. The Station's area of responsibility spans the Chesapeake Bay between and including the Patapsco and Chester Rivers, as well as Baltimore's Inner Harbor.
 

SURFACE ACQUISITION LOGISTICS CENTER (SALC)

This Unit enhances the readiness, supportability and affordability of new assets and systems by providing acquisition logistics services and solutions that meet life cycle requirements of the surface fleet. SALC is part of the Coast Guard Acquisition Directorate.
 
The SFLC was established on Jan. 26, 2009. SFLC members are geographically dispersed across 27 locations including three main hubs in Alameda, CA, Norfolk, VA and the Coast Guard Yard in Balitmore, MD. SFLC provides the CG Surface Fleet of cutters and boats with depot level maintenance, engineering, supply, logistics, information services, and cybersecurity to support Coast Guard missions. The Coast Guard Yard is a unit within the SFLC command.
 

USCGC JAMES RANKIN (WLM 555)

The Coast Guard Cutter JAMES RANKIN, a 175' Keeper Class coastal buoy tender, is responsible for the maintenance of over 400 buoys that mark the major shipping channels in the Chesapeake Bay and form the entrance of the Potomac River north to Baltimore. It is homeported at the Coast Guard Yard and comes under the Atlantic Area Command.
 

USCGC SLEDGE (WLIC 75303)

The Coast Guard Cutter SLEDGE is a combination pusher tug/barge that builds, maintains, and services aids to navigation in the upper Chesapeake Bay. It is homeported at the Coast Guard Yard at the Coast Guard Yard and comes under the Atlantic Area Command.
