Regional Execution Division - Construction (RED-C)

In RED-C we manage the construction phase of the project life cycle.  Our Construction Managers (CMs) and Contracting Officer’s Representatives (CORs) provide the technical expertise necessary to ensure successful project completion.

CMs are responsible for managing the project during the construction phase.  They monitor construction progress and act as technical advisors to the Contracting Officers in areas such as preparing change orders, reviewing product submittals, shop drawings, and inspector’s reports.

CORs act as the field inspectors representing the Coast Guard’s interests during construction.  They ensure safety standards and contract requirements are upheld on the job site, and often help coordinate directly with the unit personnel to facilitate site access and project mobilization.
