Contracting

The Contracting Branch consists of the Chief of Contracting, eight Contracting Officers and one Purchase Card Coordinator.    Our team processes a variety of work in Hawaii, Guam, California, Oregon, and Washington.  Types of projects include maintenance, repairs, and rehabilitation of existing Coast Guard structures in our area-of-operations.  We also contract for environmental work to support permitting for our work (since most of our stations are close to the water).  Most of our work is ordered through existing indefinite-delivery, indefinite-quantity contracts.  Each Contracting Officer has their own contracting warrant authorizing the ability to expend federal funds in strict accordance with Federal Laws and Regulations.
