U.S. Coast Guard Maritime Information Exchange (CGMIX) database

The CGMIX website allows users to check the status of marine casualty incidents within the Maritime Information for Safety and Law Enforcement (MISLE) database.

CGMIX offers several options to search for report summaries and retrieve a listing of incidents that match your search criteria concerning completed incidents investigated by the USCG.

When an investigation is closed, the search will result in a report summary.

If the complete report is needed, submit a FOIA request and reference the MISLE Case Number and/or Activity Number.

Good Order and Discipline Data

The Good Order and Discipline Data (GOAD) and summary is a compilation of the disciplinary and administrative actions taken when Coast Guard military and civilian employees fail to uphold the high ethical, moral, and professional standards we share in the USCG.  While the military and civilian systems are separate with different procedures, rights, and purposes, the underlying core values remain the same.  Actions from both systems are included to inform the USCG community of administrative and criminal and enforcement actions.

The following link consists of GOAD information for the last ten years.
