The Coast Guard’s portfolio of aviation acquisition programs will recapitalize the service’s fixed- and rotary-wing aircraft fleets by delivering new and upgraded platforms – including the HC-144 and HC-130J, the MH-65E and MH-60T. Additionally, these programs provide improved mission equipment and advanced operational capabilities to Coast Guard aircrews. Working closely with requirements sponsors and technical authorities, the aviation programs help to maximize asset capabilities and longevity while minimizing lifecycle total ownership costs.
