Research and Development Center projects focus on enhancing Coast Guard mission success

In fiscal year 2024, the Coast Guard Research and Development Center in New London, Connecticut, supported a research portfolio of 46 projects, covering the full scope of the Coast Guard’s missions. This video highlights a few of those projects, including beyond visual line of sight unmanned aircraft system detect and avoid technology, private aids to navigation verification improvement, Polar Regions Technology Evaluation, high latitude underway connectivity, maritime domain awareness autonomy and unmanned maritime system and ground vehicle technologies.
