The Coast Guard released a request for information (RFI) on Oct. 8 to inform its training support solutions for the waterways commerce cutters (WCCs). The RFI can be found here.

The Coast Guard plans to use one or more independent contracts to develop and implement training support solutions for new cutters instead of including those requirements with the shipbuilder acquisition contract. This RFI seeks information regarding the analysis, design, development, implementation and evaluation of crew training and performance support solutions for the WCC program, especially regarding the feasibility of meeting performance work statement requirements.

The deadline to submit responses to the RFI is 11 a.m. EST Nov. 8, 2021.
