Coast Guard begins HVAC upgrade on second 140-foot ice-breaking tug

Coast Guard Cutter Thunder Bay arrived for In-Service Vessel Sustainment work at the Coast Guard Yard in Baltimore, Maryland, April 19, 2021. The 140-foot icebreaking tug will receive HVAC system upgrades that will increase heating capacity. Thunder Bay is the second of nine cutters to receive the upgraded systems.
