The Coast Guard Waterways Commerce Cutter Program released a special notice Feb. 11, 2021, to inform industry of changes made to the river buoy and inland tender draft specifications.
Based on industry feedback received and additional internal analysis performed since July 2020, the Coast Guard has updated the draft specifications. In the special notice, the Coast Guard has provided a list of major specification changes and drawings for reference and guidance to enable industry to be better prepared upon release of the request for proposal, anticipated in spring 2021.
