Coast Guard releases request for information to inform WCC training solutions

The Coast Guard released a request for information (RFI) Sept. 17 to inform its training support solutions for the waterways commerce cutters (WCCs). The RFI can be found at the GSA eBuy website, using reference ID number RFQ1396764. The Coast Guard is considering Human Capital and Training Solutions, or HCaTS, which is a multiple-award indefinite delivery, indefinite quantity contract vehicle.

The Coast Guard is assessing the option of using one or more independent contracts to develop and implement training support solutions for new cutters in lieu of the traditional approach of including those requirements with the cutter production contract. This RFI seeks to elicit information regarding the analysis, design, development, implementation and evaluation of crew training and performance support solutions for the WCC program.

The deadline to submit responses to the RFI is Oct. 2, 2019.
