HC-144 Minotaur Installation Begins At ALC

An HC-144 Ocean Sentry medium range surveillance aircraft entered Minotaur mission system installation at the Coast Guard Aviation Logistics Center (ALC) in Elizabeth City, North Carolina, Oct. 2, 2017. This is the first aircraft to enter the ALC Minotaur production line, which was established in July to retrofit all HC-144s with the Minotaur system. Minotaur integrates installed sensors and radar and provides dramatically improved data fusion and information processing and sharing capabilities. Minotaur installation on the prototype and the validation aircraft occurred at Naval Air Station Patuxent River, Maryland. U.S. Coast Guard photo.
