RDC & Ohio National Guard sign MOU

The Coast Guard Research and Development Center (RDC) and Ohio National Guard signed a joint memorandum of understanding (MOU) Oct. 22, 2018, which allows them to work together on cyber engagements. This is the RDC’s first MOU with a state’s National Guard. Maj. Gen. Mark Bartman (right), Ohio adjutant general, and Capt. Greg Rothrock, Coast Guard RDC commanding officer, signed the documents at Ohio National Guard Joint Force Headquarters, located at the Maj. Gen. Robert S. Beightler Armory in Columbus, Ohio. “Maritime cyber security is a critical facet of our research portfolio,” Rothrock said. “By connecting with the Ohio National Guard through this formal process, we have a partner with world-class technical expertise that will enhance the national security research enterprise.” Photo courtesy of Bill Pierce/Ohio National Guard Public Affairs.
