The U.S. Coast Guard is hosting an Industry Day on May 2 at Telecommunication and Information Systems Command (TISCOM) in Alexandria, Virginia. The event is designed to promote meaningful exchange so industry can gain a greater understanding of Coast Guard needs, and the Coast Guard can gain an expanded awareness of industry capabilities. The program will include U.S. Coast Guard procurement team updates on anticipated requirements for the upcoming year, followed by respective break-out sessions for one-on-one discussions including Q&A's referencing specific Acquisition Planning Forecast System opportunities.
There is a limit of two attendees per company. Federal contractors – large and small – interested in Coast Guard business opportunities, representatives from small businesses, small disadvantaged businesses, 8(a), HUB-Zone, service disabled veteran-owned small businesses, women-owned small businesses, economically disadvantaged women-owned small businesses and large businesses are all encouraged to attend.
There is no cost to attend this event; however, space is limited to the first 350 registrants. Registration deadline is April 25.
