RDC participates in research on improving Coast Guard mission success during Arctic winter

As the Coast Guard Cutter Polar Star continues its historic winter deployment to project power and a sovereign presence in the Arctic, Shalane Regan, a member of the Coast Guard Research and Development Center (RDC), is working with other scientists and researchers on board to find ways to operate most effectively in the harsh environment.
