The Coast Guard Cutter Nathan Bruckenthal towed the sailboat Rainbow to safety in Virginia, Sunday, July 7, 2019, after the sailboat lost power 50 miles east of Cape Hatteras, NC. The pre-commissioned Coast Guard Cutter Midgett was 20 miles away when the distress occurred and stayed with the Rainbow until the Bruckenthal arrived. U.S. Coast Guard photo.
