On 3 September 2024, Coast Guard Health, Safety, and Work-Life's (HSWL) Behavioral Health Services Division kicked off Suicide Prevention Awareness Month and invited Mission Support's Security Policy & Management Office (DCMS-34) to host a webinar discussing “Mental Health and Your Security Clearance.”

Mental health stigma persists despite significant efforts to assure that cleared individuals and candidates seek mental health care.  DCMS-34 supports continued efforts to debunk the belief that mental health care and treatment has a negative impact on the granting of security clearances.

You can access a recording of this important webinar here.
