About the Course

The purpose of the Senior Leader Principles and Skills Course (SLPS) is to develop leadership skills, knowledge and performance for Coast Guard Active Duty, Reserve and Civilian personnel making the transition from mid-level to senior leadership positions. This course is designed for GS-14 and O-5 personnel. Members outside the target audience will be considered if space is available. These members of Team Coast Guard are the individuals in the organization that provide direction and visions to groups or teams. They are responsible for developing and communicating the context of direction down the chain to first line supervisors, work groups and individual workers.


Prerequisites

Recommended that participants have attended MOCTC or SLTC.
