Base Boston serves as the single DCMS touch point for the First Coast Guard District in support of Coast Guard operations throughout the district's area of operations. Base Boston also supports all other Coast Guard support units and personnel who are stationed throughout New England, New York and Northern New Jersey. Together with Base Cape Cod, we stand shoulder-to-shoulder with our operational partners to ensure the delivery of professional, responsive and cost-effective Coast Guard services to the American public. Base Boston consists of seven departments which are:
