Civil Engineering Unit (CEU) Oakland provides world class shore infrastructure support services that sustain and enable the U.S. Coast Guard’s missions. With every Coast Guard mission beginning and ending at a shore facility, our diverse team of military engineers, civil servants and contracted employees delivers dedicated asset management, engineering design and construction support, contract management, environmental management support, and real property management and planning services for more than 120 units throughout the Districts 11 and 13 while frequently collaborating on projects and planning for Districts 8, 14, and 17. CEU Oakland also supports the readiness of our service-members, and their families, through technical oversight and management of the Coast Guard’s portfolio of government-owned housing, training, and community services facilities nation-wide.
