USCG General Messages

General Messages are administrative-type directives that communicate an urgent policy change or update to the field and expire one year from their release date. These policies may therefore be considered temporary unless otherwise replaced or revised. They shall be renewed annual by re-releasing a new message or submitted to be incorporated into the next relevant directive revision.
